While learning about WWII, Brandon and Clayton were wondering if anyone in our family has served in the wars. So, we knew of one grandfather, but didn't know about the other and found his record that he did serve. So, after that, we did some more searching and did allot of reading and looking at records and have found allot of our family history. I used to do this when we lived in Utah (before children) allot. All the work that I did for 2 years down there without computers, I did in about a few days here at home on the computer. And then some. It was great. Brandon really loved it and learned allot. There is still more for us do to and research, but we are sorta taking a break right now. But, if anyone is intersted in researching your family it is nice to do.
As for us right now we all have some sort of cold going on. I am hoping that it goes away here soon. The weather has been getting colder and the days are getting shorter. The wood stove is working out great. Everyone enjoys that even the animals.
