Update:
Hello all. I was trying to find that song 'sum sum summertime' I found the lyrics but I can't find the song to go in my music selection. Anyway we have baptised the summer already with 930pm dinners and 10 am breakfasts. Here in Alaska we sleep in the winter and play in the summer. Not everyday is like that that but as we get going day by day life is busy and our schedule changes. Everyone is enjoying the summer so far. The trees are turning green fast. I have been enjoying coffee in the lightness of the morning and I am looking forward to sitting with my coffee on my little balcony in the morning while everyone sleeps. We have allot of daylight now. Here in a month we will have the 24 hours of daylight. Although it really seems like we have it now, I never see the dark it happens in the wee hours of the night. And I am not so sure it even gets really dark anyway. We have started flowers and some vegatables for the garden already. This year we should have more of our sunflowers. I dried the sunflowers last year and picked the seeds, and we are using those this year to grow from. Don and I really enjoy a flower called canary bird vine, which grows like a weed, one minute it is not there and the next time you look at it it is already inches above the pot. they have yellow flowers on them, and then they get seed pods that I harvested and I am also using those seeds for this year. Our chickens are doing well, We think we have more roosters then hens, it is still early to tell but we know we have one or two for sure that are not hens. Don and the boys built a chicken coop in the shed. They are allot happier out there now. Our summer time fun with activities will soon kick off here. Last year we took the whole summer off. No activities which was really nice. we just did what we wanted to. This year Heidi will be playing soccer for the first time and clayton will join her. Brandon will be doing baseball. I will post happenings about them when they come in. Have a great day all. we would love to hear from you.

I love hearing about all that is going on with your family! Sounds like lots of fun.
I'm blogging tonight so decided to see what was new on yours. It always seems like other people's lives are more interesting than our own! Sorry about your date night troubles...Lonny and I still have to celebrate our anniversary which was Wednesday. He's out of town...again. We haven't had a date since before Ethan was born and I can sure tell! It's not good to go that long. Anyway, I will see you tomorrow at the party. Keep up the good blogging!
~Bridget
